Jake Paul Reveals Next Fight Plans Involving Canelo Alvarez But Snubs Conor McGregor- “Needs To Go To Rehab”

Jake Paul was calling out for a potential boxing clash against Conor McGregor for a long time. He had also desired to meet the P4P king Canelo Alvarez inside the squared circle somewhere down the line.

Keeping an undefeated record by beating firmer MMA fighters, Paul earned quite a name for himself in the sport of boxing. However, Tommy Fury handed ‘The Problem Child’ his maiden boxing defeat.

Since Tommy Fury was a pro boxer, several people hated Jake Paul for putting on boxing contests mostly with MMA fighters. Nevertheless, he repeated the same last night by beating former UFC fighter Nate Diaz in the latter’s pro-boxing debut.

Jake Pau is now 7-1 as a pugilist. While he demanded a fight against McGregor just before boxing Nate Diaz, the 26-year-old sounded different when asked about the same post-fight.

‘The Problem Child’ said, “I don’t care about that guy, he needs to go to rehab. I want Nate Diaz in MMA, I want more professional boxers and I want Canelo Alvarez.”

Jake Paul has signed a deal with PFL and is expected to make his PFL debut soon. However, Nate Diaz has denied competing for PFL MMA even if offered a hefty $10 million but is open to moving back to the UFC.

That said, the rematch between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz under the MMA ruleset seems to be a bit complicated to get done on the papers. Meanwhile, Canelo Alvarez will clash against Jermell Charlo in an undisputed vs undisputed fight on September 30 in Las Vegas.

Is It Possible for Jake Paul To Face Canelo Alvarez?

Canelo Alvarez has never given much importance to Jake Paul as a boxer. The Mexican fighter believes ‘The Problem Child’ hasn’t achieved anything to call him out, which makes sense to the traditional fans.

Canelo Alvarez is a multi-weight undisputed champion and is considered one of the greatest of his generation. He is also a PPV superstar and a major cash cow in the sport of boxing. Hence, a fight against Jake Paul wouldn’t fetch anything valuable for Canelo at this point.
