“Likeable A**Hole” – Stephen Curry Discloses the Truth About Opposing Fanbases After His Warriors “Ruined” the NBA

Since 2010, the Golden State Warriors have won more titles than any other team. The way basketball is played has been altered as a result, and contemporary teams aim to follow their lead. Stephen Curry, an all-around shooter at Point, is essential to their success. He was surrounded by a squad that was mostly assembled through a draught, which allowed for fantastic synergy.

However, many contend that they have destroyed the game by making it fixated on three-point shooting as a result of their style of play. Stephen Curry expressed his viewpoint on such stance. He has also expressed his opinions over the NBA fan base that supported his opponent in the Finals.

Has the NBA been destroyed by Stephen Curry and the Warriors?

The three-point shooting superstar was questioned by LA Mag in July of last year if his emphasis on the three-point shot had damaged basketball. There will always be people who love it and people who despise it whenever you alter or disturb the way something has been done for years or decades, he retorted.

Before Curry, no one had even dared to hope to make 300, much less 400, three-pointers in a season. As a result, the floodgates were opened as he made 272 threes in 2012–13, breaking Ray Allen’s 269 marks from the 2005–06 season.

He then accomplished a feat no one could have predicted by hitting 402 balls in a season between 2015 and 2016. a record still standing today. These accomplishments occurred at a time when the Guard was also perfecting their rim-based and in-between game.

They won four titles as a result of it, another shooter named Klay Thompson, a dependable defender named Draymond Green, and wings like Andrew Wiggins, Harrison Barnes, and superstar Kevin Durant. They did lose twice in the Finals and several times in the Western Conference, but other teams ultimately triumphed over them.

He spoke with Gilbert Arenas on his podcast  “Gil’s Arena” on the fan bases of the teams he faced up against in numerous intense Playoff matches. The host of the Josiah Johnson asked him, “How do you feel about being the most likeable a**hole?” as they discussed his talent at embarrassing players. The Guard responded quickly.

On receiving both love and contempt, Stephen Curry

He talks about the Finals rivals and Western Conference matchups between the Cavaliers, Raptors, and Celtics as having great clashes. “That’s what you want”, he says.

He claims that playing in his opponents’ hostile stadiums was challenging  “You wanna be playing in the games that matter; building up a little equity and in terms of other fanbases minds”. “But we have been on the other side of it too. So you get some, you take some. It’s all love at the end of the day. I appreciate the position of being elected a likable a**hole”.

Will Curry be able to witness more of this activity next season, as he pays his respects to the supporters of the other team?
