New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has supposedly bought himself a new mansion in New Jersey. The 39-year-old baller has added to his 3.5-acre Wisconsin mansion, $28 million Malibu, California, Tennessee, and Texas with a new massive building.
While there are no records yet to confirm the purchase, reports say the baller has acquired a newly built 8-bedroom mansion in Montclair, New Jersey, for $9.5 million. The edifice is newly built and boasts contemporary designs, a great view, and beautiful features. Finally, it’s not too far from the Big Apple and boasts panoramic views of the New York City skyline. However, records have not confirmed the purchase despite reports that the baller has acquired it.
Won’t you be my neighbor?
Aaron Rodgers has officially said goodbye to the Badger State and hello to the Garden State.
The NFL quarterback, who was traded from the Green Bay Packers to the New York Jets in April, just shelled out $9.5 million for a sleek eight-bedroom, 10-bathroom home in the Montclair area of New Jersey, The Post has learned.
Sources have indicated for several months that Rodgers purchased this home in question — however, sale records have yet to close, let alone reveal the identity of the buyer.
The Post has reached out to Rodgers’ reps for comment.
The purchase was first reported by the Daily Mail.
Still, the property — a new-construction build — is just less than an hour away from the Big Apple and boasts panoramic views of the New York City skyline.
Rodgers, 39, made his glorious debut for the highly anticipated New York Jets season late last month, when he showed up to training camp at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center.
That center is just a half-hour drive from his new luxe pad.
Pegged as an “architectural masterpiece,” the home offers a sleek and contemporary design, which features walls of windows for optimal sunlight.
Situated on over 2 acres of land, the floor plan features a gourmet kitchen with a center island and bar seating. The kitchen has an adjacent dining area and a living room.
All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms.
Other features include a media room, a home office, a three-car garage with a charging station and a wine cellar.
Rodgers has played his entire 18-year career in Green Bay, throwing 475 touchdowns and just 105 interceptions, over 5,000 completions for over 59,000 career passing yards.
The four-time MVP player led the Packers to the Super Bowl championship during the 2010 season. He never made it back to the big game, but they did make it to the NFC championship game four additional times.
While Rodgers will be saying goodbye to his 3.5-acre Wisconsin abode in Oneida, that property is not yet up for sale.
Meanwhile, Rodgers has already amassed a massive property portfolio. He also owns a $28 million Malibu pad that he purchased back in 2019, and has homes in Chico, California — as well as in Tennessee and Texas.
With an estimated net worth of $200 million and several other properties across the States, money is definitely not a problem for the baller to acquire such a magnificient mansion, $9 million is the least he could spend on a building. With the same net worth, celebrities spend much more extravagantly.
