Watch Ja Morant Ink His Body In Honor Of The Late NBA Legend Kobe Bryant

Ja Morant can pass as a tourist site following his giant new back tattoo. The 22-year-old NBA star, who has served two suspensions this year due to gun flashing, partnered with Arizona tattoo artist Andress Ortega to bring the new art to life.

According to Ortega, the inking was a full-time job that took almost a day to be successful. The tattoo details Morant’s journey into the NBA and also pays homage to the late legendary NBA star Kobe Bryant.

Ja Morant tasked Arizona-based tattoo artist Andres Ortega with providing him with some new ink that honors his journey to the league while also commemorating the late great Kobe Bryant.

According to Ortega, the large back and torso pieces took a total of 10 hours to complete as Andres and his team worked collectively like a surgical unit bringing Morant’s pieces to life.

The troubled Memphis Grizzlies star will be returning to the field next season following his 25-game suspension. Hopefully, he behaves himself well enough to be celebrated more than Bryant, his mentor.
