Why Did Khabib Nurmagomedov Reject Training Elon Musk To Fight Mark Zuckerberg?

Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg are constantly teasing a potential clash between the two and have already grabbed the entire combat sports’ attention.

From UFC President Dana White to Jake Paul, umpteen fight promoters have wanted to host the clash between two billionaires under their brands. Meanwhile, Elon Musk has claimed to host the fight under his and Zuckerberg’s platform and shall be streamed live on X and META platforms.

Since verbally confirming the fight, Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk have gained offers from various MMA fighters to train them,

META Founder Zuckerberg was already spotted in workout sessions with UFC champions- Alexander Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya. While Jon Jones agreed on training Musk, Khabib Nurmagomedov didn’t seem interested in training World’s Richest Man.

As per Khabib Nurmagomedov’s representatives, the undefeated ex-UFC lightweight champion only trains people he knows personally. Hence, they ruled out the chances of Nurmagomedov preparing Elon Musk to fight Mark Zuckerberg.

Khabib Nurmagomedov ended his MMA career after successfully defending the lightweight title against Justin Gaethje via 2nd round submission at UFC 254. Despite getting several lucrative fight offers, ‘The Eagle’ never laced up the gloves again.

He continued training his teammates like Usman Nurmagomedov, Islam Makhachev, and others who also went on to win MMA world titles in various promotions. Khabib, however, relinquished his role as a trainer to dedicate more time to is family.

He is now out of the fight game in all senses but was spotted visiting AKA (American Kickboxing Academy) a few days back. It remains to be seen whether Khabib ever resolves his coaching role, especially when Islam Makhachev will rematch Charles Oliveira in Abu Dhabi.
