Things are not looking good for the Bears.
Besides being 0-2 it appears their defensive coordinator who messed last weekend game is being investigated by the FBI.
Earlier today, Chicago Bears Head Coach Matt Eberflus indicated that he had no update on the status of Defensive Coordinator Alan Williams, who was away from the team this weekend when they traveled to Tampa. Notably, Eberflus wouldn’t even confirm that Williams was still employed by the Bears. So you already knew something serious was going on, even if the particulars weren’t available.
Vague reports are leaking out today, however, about just how serious this situation might be:
BREAKING: According to sources familiar with the situation, both Halas Hall and Alan Williams’s home have been raided in connection with an undisclosed incident.
Alan Williams’s home was raided Sunday night, after the team’s Week 1 loss.
Halas Hall was raided THIS MORNING.

According to a Bears representative this is false and the Feds haven’t raided Halas Hall.
Williams has resigned.
