Deion Sanders has received some criticism from a CBS reporter following his significant victory over the weekend. On Saturday, Sanders guided the Colorado Buffaloes to a 45-42 victory over TCU, leaving many with wrong assumptions. He also maintained receipts and even criticized reporters after the game, calling out one in particular for writing “bull-junk” about the team. He tweeted saying
“Coach after coach has told me, take the blame when you lose and make it about the players when you win. Yesterday was a moment missed to do the latter,”. “Instead, wonderful moment & a bit of oxygen sucked out of the room. @CUBuffsFootball players deserved better IMO.”

Even if nothing else, Deion’s post-game news conference was entertaining, but it infuriated several journalists, like Dennis Dodd of CBS Sports, who claimed Coach Prime was grabbing the glory for himself.
Fans reaction to Dennis Dodd goes all across Social Media
Fans didnt take kindly to Dennis Dodd talking trash about Sanders . Here are a few reactions below
Deion opened the presser by praising his team, calling out spectacular individuals, and then praised the opposing coach and program. And all of that occurred after the press tried to make it about Deion, not the other way around. You must have watched a different press…

What press conference did you watch? OR, did you just listen to the last 5 minutes?
THIS IS A HORRIBLE TAKE!

Clearly, you wanted attention & did not watch the post game interview. He praised his men & held those that doubted them accountable. This tweet is exactly what he was talking about and why he took the position that he did with certain media outlets. It’s baseless and negative

The kids that play for deion are fully aware of the sideshow they exist in, if they aren't they chose the wrong school.

When the man wears clothes that say Prime on them larger than the school logo, that’s all you need to know. It’s all about him.

If I were to guess, his players were very happy he stood up for himself and the program.
And I bet checking into some player interviews will give you some info.

Sanders did thank his team after the victory, as the user below noted; Dodd likely missed this
This is how he opened the presser. Praised his team, called out spectacular individuals, and even praised the opposing coach & program. Would bet good money the players don’t give a damn about Deion’s presser. https://t.co/WgURlFze9l pic.twitter.com/kYUllHgzYb

When Sanders and the Buffaloes take on Nebraska on Saturday, fans will be curious to see if Sanders and the team can build on their recent triumph. Another news conference like this one would be helpful.
