Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann‘s attempts to get out of their deep financial hole while going through a divorce aren’t working out too well; according to TMZ, their Georgia property is once again in danger of going into foreclosure.
Their Alpharetta estate is once more under pre-foreclosure, and internet records show that the anticipated sale date is November 7. Although it isn’t legally in foreclosure yet, it is clearly moving in that direction, showing they have fallen behind on their mortgage payments.
Kroy asked Kim to sell her expensive purses to help with Mortgage Payments
In documents submitted last month, Kroy requested an urgent hearing to allow the sale of their $3 million home, claiming that their financial problems were getting worse and that the sale would enable them to pay off “significant debt.”
Kroy claimed they were having trouble making their mortgage payments each month and were forced to sell his backpacks and other personal goods in order to raise the money necessary to pay what was owing. He claims that when he requested Kim to donate money by selling her purses, she declined.
However, Kroy adds, “None of the proceeds from the sale of these items have gone towards the mortgage, or any other bills.” Kroy believes Kim sold some bags, wigs, and other upscale items. According to Kroy, they were unable to pay their mortgage in July, raising the possibility of a foreclosure. For this reason, he is trying to sell the house.
Maryls A. Bergstrom, Kroy’s attorney, told TMZ that Kroy wants to sell the mansion : ” On September 27, we will go in court to ask the judge to have the home sold.”
Remember, their family home was about to go through foreclosure back in February, and the estate was scheduled to be sold at auction the following month. However, thanks to their payments, they were able to postpone the sale and keep the house.
Not just the house has been in dispute; as you may remember, the couple was set to divorce in May but postponed proceedings in July. Only a month later, Kroy filed for divorce once more.
