Watch Ex-NFL Punter Marquette King Tell Funny Story On The Reason He Was Cut From The Raiders Being Because He Gave Owner Mark Davis A “Soft Noogie”

This story is a little funny but also a little crazy.

Former All Pro punter Marquette King was extremely popular during his time in the NFL with the Raider. He brought a different kind of swag to the position that most just don’t.

He was also very good at his job so it was a little weird when he was cut by the Raiders.

We now know why according to King. While on a podcast recently, King was asked if he had any good Mark Davis (Raiders owners) stories and he told a story on how he put Davis in a soft headlock and gave him a soft noogie during one of their interactions. He says he was cut after that.

If that is true, that is a very petty reason to cut a player.
