Anthony Richardson, the quarterback for the Colts, may need shoulder surgery in the following week, which means his season is probably over.
After suffering an injury during his previous game, Colts rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson has a grade 3 sprain to the AC joint in his right shoulder. After a brief run in the first half versus Tennessee, he was hurt, and he lay down before slowly making his way to the team’s medical tent.
The rookie quarterback is ‘probably’ done for the year, according to Colts Owner Jim Irsay, who announced this on Monday night. According to Adam Schefter the QB is going to miss the remaining of the season as he shared on his X handle.

A Horror start to the season for Richardson
Richardson missed Jacksonville’s game on Sunday for the second time this year, but he traveled with the team and sat out of Indy’s defeat by wearing a sling to preserve his throwing shoulder.
The former Florida Gators standout, who is 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 244 pounds, has a history of injuries. Three of his four starts as the fourth overall pick were unsuccessful. He sustained a shoulder injury, a damaged knee, and a concussion.
He had a strong start, completing 59.7% of his passes in four games while throwing for 577 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. In addition, he has 136 yards and four touchdowns on 25 carries.
