Injuries to WRs are a widespread problem in 2023, affecting every team.
Receiver Justin Jefferson will miss the next four games at the very least after the Vikings formally placed him on injured reserve on Wednesday. In his career, he has never missed a game, but as he prepares to return to the field, he will now miss at least four.
In the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 27-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, Jefferson suffered a right hamstring strain. While running a course at U.S. Bank Stadium, he stumbled on the grass and disappeared.

Jordan Addison‘s head coach made sure everyone understood that he will be playing an even bigger part in the offense. Coach Kevin O’Connell may have unintentionally insulted rookie Jordan Addison by making a joke about him.
He stated he wanted to ‘push the gas’ this weekend, no pun intended, while describing his goals for Addison.
“He was one of my favorite players I evaluated in the draft. … Since then, it’s been positive after positive, outside of driving a little fast one time. My expectation is we hit the gas with Jordan this weekend. No pun intended.”

Jordan Addison, a rookie wide receiver with the Vikings, was stopped by the Minnesota State Patrol for driving 140 miles per hour in a 55 mph zone three days before the start of training camp. He was given a ticket for speeding and reckless driving.
Because his dog was experiencing a crisis at home, Addison was traveling at a high rate of speed. For the infraction, the rookie received a penalty. Fortunately, everyone had a good night.
