After a Contentious Call That Changed the Outcome of the Eagles-Cowboys Game, Social Media Criticizes the Referees for “Rigging”

The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Dallas Cowboys in a game that was decided by mere inches. With playoff implications at stake, the Cowboys’ visit to the Eagles was the biggest game of the day.

Nobody anticipated that the referees would be discussing this game extensively. That was seen on a single play in the fourth quarter when Tony Pollard’s touchdown was nullified by a penalty.

Despite a replay, Dak Prescott told the official that his lineman was listed as an eligible wide receiver, officials called the Cowboys for an unlawful formation penalty.

Fans became furious and you can see it from the reactions :

Despite their best efforts, the Eagles were unable to give up this game and defeated Dak Prescott and the Cowboys 28–23. With a 7-1 record heading into Sunday, the Eagles are the top team in the NFL, with the Cowboys trailing them in the division at 5-2.

Eagles now have a 2-game advantage over the Cowboys in the loss column.

In the defeat, Prescott amassed 330 yards and three touchdowns. Despite taking a direct hit to his damaged left knee, Jalen Hurts managed to throw for 207 yards and two touchdowns, in addition to scoring a touchdown on a tush push.
