Following Sunday’s costly judgment made by Mike McCarthy against the Philadelphia Eagles, supporters of the Dallas Cowboys were furious.
The Eagles took the lead right away, winning their first drive 7-0 thanks to two fourth-down conversions. The first occurred on a fourth-and-one when the Philadelphia offense executed their signature “Brotherly Shove” to advance the chains.
Third down, Jalen Hurts uses his legs to inch close to the sticks. Looks like he’s short.

Jalen Hurts appeared to be more than a yard short of the marker on a third-down scramble on the previous play, but the officials gave him a favorable position.
McCarthy had the opportunity to challenge, but he chose not to, and the Eagles proceeded to score, with Kenneth Gainwell performing a spectacular leap to score.
Following the TD, fans focused on the Dallas HC.
I am so thankful every Sunday how terrible a coach Mike McCarthy is. The fact that he didn’t challenge the spot on the 3rd down scramble by Hurts so it would be 4th and 2 instead of 4th and 1 and allowed the Eagles to tush push… such a massive momentum shift early in the game.

Mike McCarthy is trash, worst game manager in football.. we all saw Hurts A yard and a half Short and he doesn't challenge. He is so worthless.

Unreal. Refs blow their call, MM blows the challenge, cant stop 2nd & 23. Everything fucking handed to them. McCarthy just cost this team 7 pts

Challenge the spot, that's almost 2 yards short. McCarthy needs to do better.

However, the Cowboys led at the half after scoring two touchdowns and a field goal.
