Thunder Josh Giddey was being accused by an anonymous Twitter account of having an inappropriate relationship with underage girls.
The girls have been on TikTok speaking about their relationships with Giddey. The girls seem to still be in high school, but their ages are unknown at this time.
Also, what is unknown is when Giddey met her and if she is telling the truth. The videos show a shirtless Giddey with a couple of girls, but nothing more than that.
The age of consent in the state of Oklahoma is 16, but if the teens in question were 15 at the time of the alleged relationship, Giddey could be in some big trouble.
A sentence between one and 15 years in prison awaits the offender if found guilty of these charges of having an inappropriate relationship with anyone 15 and under.
One of the other major issues with the accusation is at least one of the teens presented themselves as over the age of 21 on social media.
When and where these photos and videos were taking with Giddey and the teens have not been verified and there is no word on why they were exposed on social media on Thanksgiving of all days.
The NBA is now investigated the allegations, but the Thunder has no comment at the time. There was a fake report that Giddey had been released from the team, but that was incorrect as Giddey is currently with the team.
It appears Giddey’s representatives and lawyers have gotten involved to figure out what exactly is going on. One of the teens in question is still posting on TikTok on social media but hasn’t made any type of statement yet.
Giddey addressed the situation when asked about it at practice.
