The cops have arrested a 48-year-old Los Angeles woman named Brenda Yanez in connection with an organized retail theft ring that targeted stores, including CVS, Sephora, Ulta Beauty, Rite Aid, Nordstrom, the 99 Cents Only Store, and others.

The California Highway Patrol seized more than $1 million in stolen cosmetics during a bust. Yanez is facing charges of organized retail theft, grand theft, and possession of stolen property.
The investigation revealed connections to a warehouse in Paramount and The Makeup Store on Whittier Boulevard. The seized items included stolen merchandise and tools used to remove anti-theft devices.
The California Highway Patrol’s Organized Retail Crime Task Force is actively working with partners and agencies to combat organized retail crime during the holiday season. The incident remains under investigation.
Investigations are still ongoing and surely, the cops will do their job diligently to get to the bottom of the incident.
