In a recent matchup against the New York Knicks, the Milwaukee Bucks showcased their offensive prowess with a convincing 146-122 victory. Damian Lillard, reflecting on the game, praised the Bucks’ performance, labeling it as their “best offensive game.”
Scoring 146 points, the Bucks left room for improvement, according to Lillard, who highlighted missed opportunities such as free throws and shots in the paint. Despite the explosive offensive display, he emphasized that replicating such nights consistently is not guaranteed. However, Lillard acknowledged the team’s potential explosiveness, attributing it to their recent offensive showcase.

Leading the charge, Giannis Antetokounmpo contributed 35 points, complemented by Lillard’s 28, with four other Bucks players scoring in double figures. Milwaukee’s impressive shooting stats included a 60.4 percent field goal rate, going 55-for-91, and a 23-for-38 performance from beyond the arc.
Lillard recognized that the Bucks’ offensive success was not a mere fluke. Malik Beasley, echoing Lillard’s sentiments, mentioned the ease of getting open shots during training camp due to the team’s effective spacing.
Despite their promising start, Lillard emphasised that the Bucks are a work in progress. With 21 games into the season, he revealed ongoing efforts to enhance synergy with Giannis on the court.
