When the Steelers play the New England Patriots on Thursday night, Mitch Trubisky will start for the first time this season at quarterback as Kenny Pickett is out due to an ankle injury.
Trubisky has been a member of the team for more than a year, so he already feels at ease and knows the group. One person on the team doesn’t appear to care about that.
When reporters questioned running back Najee Harris on quarterback Mitchell Trubisky’s style and leadership abilities, he did not come off as someone who is confident in Trubisky.
“Najee Harris on Mitch Trubisky’s leadership: ‘It’s fine, I guess.’ Follow-up Q: How would you describe his style? ‘Vocal, I guess.’”

Pittsburgh is currently ranked as the fifth seed in the AFC playoff standings. In that time, they have to be able to hold off the Cincinnati Bengals and Indianapolis Colts. Despite being further down the field, both teams are still vying for a postseason berth.
Last season, Trubisky started five games for the Steelers, who finished 2-3 overall.
As a starter, Trubisky, the second overall choice in the 2017 draft, has a 31–24 record. He has completed 29 of 49 passes for 273 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in his three outings this season.
