The Buccaneers are clearly not the same squad as they were in previous seasons when they had Tom Brady at their disposal.
Wide receiver Chris Godwin of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is married to Mariah DelPercio, but the two are not happy. Recently, the Pennsylvania State University alumna questioned the veracity of a comment attributed to Tampa Bay head coach Todd Bowles in her Instagram account.
Godwin’s output was lower this past Sunday, according to Bowles, who informed reporters that the reason for this was that his snap count was lower due to persistent injuries.
In an attempt to expose him for lying, he uploaded the “receipt” directly beneath the quotation.
As others have pointed out, Chris Godwin’s wife Mariah is not happy with Todd Bowles’ explanation for Godwin’s decreasing usage of late. pic.twitter.com/7w9wVOqo3Z

DelPercio is responding to this idea by displaying a screen shot of Godwin’s weekly snap count. Godwin played 52 snaps, which is in line with his season average, in Tampa Bay’s victory over Carolina on Sunday.
Throughout his seven-year tenure with the Bucs, Godwin has shown himself to be a fantastic talent, but in 2023, things have really slowed down for him.
His 2023 campaign output has been a little lackluster; as of now, he has 53 receptions for 606 yards and just one touchdown. He’s on track to finish the season with 75 receptions and 859 yards.
Over his career, the 27-year-old wide receiver has collected 499 receptions for 6,272 yards and 33 touchdowns.
