Online footage has surfaced that raises the possibility that Drew Lock cheated against the Eagles during the “Monday Night Football” game. This week, the Seahawks defeated the Super Bowl finalists from the previous season in a stunning upset, sending them three straight losses. However, some supporters don’t think their win was legitimate.

A video that appears to show Lock using a prohibited chemical to improve his grip on the ball during Monday night’s inclement weather has been making the rounds.
This has been on my mind since MNF: What (if anything) was on Drew Lock’s hands here? The NFL tells me it was “water.” It was raining.
Note: The use of chalk or baby powder isn’t explicitly banned by the NFL, but would likely fall under the league’s prohibited equipment rules. pic.twitter.com/tLzDyYtoIe

Although it was also raining, it does seem as though something powdery was dripping off his hands.
LeBron James might need to enter the court of public opinion for this one; as of right now, all we have is conjecture and the NFL’s assertion that it was simply rainwater.
I’ve been thinking about this since MNF: What, if anything, was Drew Lock holding here? According to the NFL, it was “water.” According to A.J. Perez of FrontOfficeSports, it was pouring.
“This is deserving of a #… “That appears to be chalk or baby powder rather than water or rain,” Eagles reporter Eliot Shorr-Parks continued.

If it was raining the chalk would wash off🤷🏻♂️ it was water. Just take the loss eagles fan. Sound like Shady McCoy!

First time I ever saw something like this. I was curious what it was too. I figured it was just the water.

First thing I thought when I saw it was rosin.

Would baby powder or chalk still be powder in wet rainy conditions? Not likely

I noticed that while watching as well.
Is rosin illegal in the NFL?
If not, maybe he had a rosin bag in his hand warmer— Nick Fleck (@nfleck3) December 21, 2023

Perez points out that there isn’t a clear ban on chalk or powder. It’s also kind of intriguing, even though nothing will change as a result of this.
