It was reasonable to speculate on Monday night whether or not we would see quarterback Trevor Lawrence of the Jacksonville Jaguars on a field again in 2024.
Against the Cincinnati Bengals, the franchise quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars was injured in a terrifying way when his foot was stepped on and then twisted underneath him. He slammed his hand and then his helmet and fell to the ground while attempting to stand.
It was discovered that the injury was a high ankle sprain, which is not insignificant but also won’t stop the season.
A few days later, a video captured Lawrence in training moving like a man who had never experienced any pain.

Trevor Lawrence Doubtful according to HC
Lawrence’s availability for Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns is currently unknown. The team won’t jeopardize its players’ health for a single game, according to head coach Doug Pederson.
It’s impressive that Lawrence is practicing three days after suffering an injury that at first seemed to rule him out for the remainder of the season, even if he doesn’t play this week.
Though Lawrence has never missed a start in three NFL seasons, the Jaguars must decide on their franchise quarterback. Since being selected first overall, he has started every one of the 46 games.
Being one game ahead of the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts in the AFC South puts them in a crucial position for the remainder of the season.
