When it was expected that MJ would not be able to secure the scoring title, he abruptly flipped the switch. In the NBA, Michael Jordan established the standard for competitiveness. He never back down from a challenge when it came to achieving his objectives.

A flying raging Jordan in full flight
When he was a member of the Chicago Bulls, Michael Jordan had innumerable occasions that simply showcased his perseverance. His intense rivalry with former team announcer Tom Dore is also a testament to his fierce personality.
MJ took it upon himself to prove everyone wrong
Dore was eventually left in shock as the Bulls superstar disproved his amazing moment of doubt about MJ’s talents.
Tom shared a story in which he overheard Jordan say on the air that he might not be able to stay up with the league’s run at scoring titles, even if he couldn’t recall the precise day and season it happened. Motivated by the comments, His Airness just switched the switch and astonishingly ended up atop the NBA leaderboard. Dore said,
“Michael walked by me one time; he needed 35 points to stay in the race to win the scoring title,” “So, going into the fourth quarter, he walks by, and I said (on the broadcast), ‘It doesn’t look like Michael’s gonna be able to win the scoring title; he’s only got 19 points,’ or something like that.” “He stops and he looks right at me as I’m saying this; and I didn’t stop; I didn’t flinch, I just finished what I was saying and sat down. And oh, you could tell that was all he needed. And so, he ripped them in the fourth quarter; I forget what he got like 14, 15, 17 points just in the fourth quarter.”

With ten NBA scoring titles under his belt, Michael Jordan is without a doubt the greatest player in basketball when it comes to scoring.
As MJ is, Dore really learned from it that she shouldn’t always be written off when it counts most.
