Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green initially felt upset about Kevin Durant‘s recent comments after his suspension for an altercation with Phoenix Suns’ Jusuf Nurkic. However, Green expressed on his podcast that he viewed Durant’s remarks with the right mindset and chose not to take offence.
In response, Durant clarified no “ill will” towards Green, emphasising their positive history as teammates on the Warriors. Durant, speaking after the Suns’ loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, expressed his satisfaction with Green’s return, describing him as an incredible teammate despite occasional temper flare-ups.
"Before I made those comments, they saying Draymond going to therapy and shit. What I'm supposed to think."

Durant’s Positive Intentions: No Harm or Disrespect Intended
Acknowledging the perception of him as a “malicious snake,” Durant clarified that his words were not meant to harm or disrespect anyone. He stated that he was merely pleased to see Green back on the court and hoped for his continued success.
Green, who recently returned from a 12-game suspension, admitted on his podcast that harboring anger towards Durant and those suggesting he needed help was unproductive. Rejoining the Warriors, he participated in a walk-through and sat on the bench for a game against Toronto. The timeline for his return to active play remained uncertain, pending further evaluation through scrimmaging.
Despite acknowledging applause from teammates during his reintroduction to a film session, Green recognized that the reception might not have been entirely deserved. The 33-year-old, a key figure in the Warriors’ four championships, had been ejected for the 18th time in his career during the recent 119-116 loss to the Phoenix Suns.
