‘Out of Shape’ Ryan Garcia Makes Major Revelation About Meeting Floyd Mayweather After Years of Banter Between The Two- “Stop Playing With Him”

Ryan Garcia and Floyd Mayweather didn’t appear to be on good terms for years. Signed under Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions, Garcia and Mayweather have been on the opposite corners briefly.

During Ryan Garcia’s feud with Gervonta Davis, Floyd Mayweather sided with his own stablemate ‘Tank’ Davis. That said, Floyd Mayweather and Garcia’s promoter Oscar De La Hoya have also been rivals for years. However, the current scenario seems to reflect a different picture.

In recent months, Ryan Garcia has criticized his promoter Oscar De La Hoya for not sticking around his corner after the loss against Gervonta Davos De La Hoya also offered heated words to Garcia. Now, Ryan Garcia appears to have only love and respect for Floyd Mayweather.

Posting a picture from the old meet-up, ‘KingRy’ expressed his honest opinions on the undefeated boxing legend.

Ryan Garcia wrote, “Old pic and I was a bit out of shape and slightly overweight lol but I want to say this about Floyd Mayweather  you guys don’t know him and most of you will never. But he is authentic has a good heart and extremely generous. Stop playing with him he will always win. HES 50-0 and he’s almost half a 100 lmao but Love him and I respect him so put respect on his name. He may be money Mayweather but he really tries to be a authentic as possible.”

24-1 as a pro, Ryan Garcia is yet to become a world champion. This year, he can possibly march towards that goal. Also there are speculations that he is trying to bag  a different promoter for himself. It means that, Ryan Garcia can also explore his options of entering Floyd Mayweather’s The Mayweather Promotions.
