According to Football scoop,
“The Colts are hiring one of college football’s best defensive line coaches,” “Charlie Partridge was selected twice by prior winners the FootballScoop Defensive Line Coach of the Year in ’20 & ’22.”
Since 2017, Partridge has served as the Pittsburgh Panthers’ defensive line coach. In 2018, his duties as a defensive coordinator were expanded. Partridge was involved in the development of multiple exceptional players for the Panthers, even though Aaron Donald was a Pitt player before him.
Following his replacement as defensive line coach in Indianapolis, Partridge will have no shortage of talent at his disposal as Nate Ollie’s contract was not renewed this summer. One of the top interior defensive linemen in football is DeForest Buckner, and Grover Stewart is a priority free agency for the Colts.
