Fox NFL Star Erin Andrews Discusses an Unsettling Sideline Encounter With a Player While Live on Television: ‘It ruined my day’

Erin Andrews, a sideline reporter for the NFL, has been candid about the emotional aspects of her work. On a recent edition of their Calm Down podcast, the Fox NFL personality and her colleague Charissa Thompson talked about being vulnerable in the business.

According to Andrews, 45, and Thompson, 41, they can become upset when they believe they have let someone down in their work life, especially if it is their employer.

Erin Andrews talked about the horrible encounter with NFL player

NFL sideline reporter disclosed that she feels the same way if she believes she has offended someone in the NFL community. Erin said,

“I know you and I feel the same way about this, too,” “If it was something that involved a team or a player, you and I are so emotional and invested in our relationships with that.”

“We’ve talked about it. If there was ever a situation and we felt so bad… like I had a situation where a certain player was coming up behind me and I didn’t know. ” “He thought I was going to interview him and we had to get off air.” “It ruined my day for three straight days.

“I ended up having to call him and I was just like, I need you to know you’re like one of my favorite players and I was doing that because we had to get off air, not because I didn’t want to talk to you.”

Andrews surmised that their passion for their work is the source of those intense feelings. Additionally, she stated that working at Fox NFL is “very much [like] a family.” Since 2021, the two sportscasters have served as the podcast’s hosts.
