During Super Bowl weekend, Jason Kelce, the center for the Philadelphia Eagles, had more fun than most.
Although the Eagles were unable to win the Super Bowl back-to-back, Kelce was in Las Vegas to witness his younger brother Travis win the Lombardi Trophy once more. Prior to and following the game, Kelce went out to party.
Videos of Kelce’s incredible tour around Sin City were surfacing in the week following the big game. The elder Kelce saw Adele perform on Friday before the game, and a video from the event looked to show Jason shouting “EAGLES!” in answer to a question the singer asked on stage.
Jason Kelce clarifies what happened at Adele Concert
The social media pages for the Kelces podcast, New Heights, posted the video, implying even further that Jason was the one who had yelled.
Kelce clarified that it was not him that yelled at Adele in their most recent podcast session. Kelce said,
“There’s a lot of fake news from the weekend,” “There’s a clip out there of— the guys behind us, they were Eagles fans and they saw that I was at the Adele concert. They were fired up. And Adele was asking who’s a fan of whatever, and they screamed out ‘Eagles!’ and everyone is saying I screamed out ‘Eagles!’ but I didn’t scream out ‘Eagles!’”

Not content to leave his listeners in the dark about just one puzzling viral moment from Kelce’s weekend, Jason also begged them to understand that the photo of him looking like Zach Galifianakis’s character Alan from The Hangover was edited.
Even though both of the viral moments turned out to be fake, Kelce remained positive about the outcome, telling his brother, “I guess all publicity is good publicity.”
