Similar mentalities helped UFC president Dana White and defensive end Maxx Crosby of the Las Vegas Raiders succeed. Maxx Crosby, a great defensive end for the Las Vegas Raiders, has a long history of being a UFC fan.
He and his co-hosts of The Rush with Maxx Crosby podcast have talked about and contrasted combatants in past editions. In addition to attending multiple UFC bouts, Crosby has also engaged in sparring with Sean Strickland, the former middleweight champion.

Maxx Crosby in action
Crosby, who has lately become close to UFC president Dana White, was the guest on the most recent episode of his podcast. Among the many things that White and Crosby talked about was Crosby’s desire to look like White when he got older.
Dana White discusses his mindset with Maxx Crosby
White talked on how, even in his 50s, his thinking is still very much the same as Crosby’s and how he continues to play a significant role in a number of his commercial endeavors. He said,
“No different than you, I like to win,” “I love the business world; I love taking things that people say can’t be done and doing it. I’m still as hands-on in this thing as I ever was, maybe more so now because of my health over the last two years. I’m running this, Power Slap, Thrill One, and Howler Head. I’m involved in the day-to-day operations in all these companies now.”
“I love it. I still love doing it. Every day, when you get up, it’s no different than sports. You’re going to feel some of it now. You’re starting to get into the business side of football. It’s no different than when you play. When you get up every day, and you’re running a business, you strap up and you go to war. You have people that are trying to come at you, people that are trying to take you out, you have the media talking s—, the fans talking s—, competitors out there trying to take a piece of what you have, you have to strap up and go to war every single day.”
Crosby thinks in a similar way. His unwavering dedication to excellence and unwavering work ethic have brought him to this point in his career. He and White have become closer over the past year because of these factors. Both of them stand to gain from their association as Crosby looks into NFL business options.
