Video of Brawl Breaking Out During Southern Mississippi’s Win Over Arkansas State

There was a brutal brawl during Southern Mississippi’s 57-48 win over Arkansas State as players and staff got dragged to the floor after a bitter row erupted near the sideline.

This mostly happens during male games and for the brawl to erupt at a women’s basketball game is somehow surprising.

The altercation took place after Red Wolves forward Emma Imevbore became tangled up with Lady Eagles guard Domonique Davis as the two players battled for a rebound.

Imevbore appeared to shove Davis, prompting her rival and Davis’ teammates Noelani Cornfield and Brikayla Gray to immediately retaliate.

A pushing match ensued near the Southern Mississippi bench, with several players and staff members ending up on the floor.

Players sitting along the bench quickly jumped in, attempting to break up the incident. But instead the brawl ended in a dogpile as other players and coaches were knocked to the ground.

Southern Mississippi forward Asjha Leake could be seen pulling Imevbore to the ground in a headlock as she intervened in the altercation.

The video of the brawl posted to X is crazy looking at how the players and staff got involved dragging each other to the floor and all that.
