On Thursday night, Tari Eason, a sophomore for the Rockets, made fun of Kyle Kuzma‘s previous tweet, which was from the Wizards.
The Washington Wizards have descended to historically low depths in the 63 years of the franchise’s existence, and the hits just keep coming for the Washington-based team. The Wizards have become the NBA’s butt of jokes. The Houston Rockets defeated the Washington Wizards 135-119 on Thursday night, largely due to a strong second quarter performance.
Kyle Kuzma’s tweet getting dug up by Tari Eason
Although injured forward Tari Eason took to social media before the first quarter ended, mocking Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma’s earlier comment that made fun of the Detroit Pistons during their historic losing streak, Rockets supporters will be grateful that the team took care of business.
At this point its like “dont be that team” 🤣 https://t.co/qmWMgPt9Jz

On his official account on Twitter (X), Eason posted:
“It’s like at this point don’t be that team🤟🏾😭😭,”

Kyle Kuzma’s tweet is a timeless classic. Not only was he making fun of the Pistons during their current 28-game losing streak, but he was also making fun of the Boston Celtics, who currently own the best record in the NBA, for trailing by 20 points at the half in the game that resulted in the longest losing streak in league history for the Pistons.
Considering that Kuzma’s Wizards were only 3.5 games ahead of Detroit at that stage of the season, it took stones for him to do so.
The Wizards have since lost more games than the Pistons, which naturally makes Tari Eason’s callback even funnier. The Rockets forward made light of Kuzma for tweeting that in the first place, and the Wizards currently have the worst record in the NBA, having won just 11 of their 65 games this season.
All the Wizards have had to do is coast through this difficult season; whereas, the Rockets can at least prove that there is some hope for the future. The Wizards might be on the rise in a few years thanks to the seasoned additions Houston made this past offseason and the development of players like Eason, Alperen Sengun, Jalen Green, and Amen Thompson.
