Adonis Graham, the son of well-known rapper and singer Drake, received an autographed jersey from Charlotte Hornets star guard LaMelo Ball prior to the team’s Sunday game against the Toronto Raptors.

Drake was designated the Raptors’ 2013 worldwide ambassador. Drake is a native of Toronto, Canada. Adonis’s father, @champagnepapi, shared a drawing of LaMelo Ball on Instagram last year, tagging the Hornets player to demonstrate how much his kid looked up to him. He got a pair of Ball’s new shoes in May.

Due to ankle pain, Ball has been out of the Hornets’ starting lineup for a spell. The last time we saw him in a game was on January 26.

LaMelo’s condition was updated by Hornets head coach Steve Clifford last week : “He’s doing the same stuff now he was doing two weeks ago. He does whatever they (medical team) allow him to do…He wants to be back, but again he doesn’t feel healthy enough or comfortable enough to play… I know he wants to get back, there’s just a lot of factors.”
