Since it became known that Aaron Rodgers might be Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s running buddy, Pat McAfee has provided some insight into the player’s whereabouts.
Aaron Rodgers of Jets was being considered as a potential vice presidential candidate for RFK Jr.’s candidacy, according to a tweet posted on Tuesday by the late dog Leroy, the podcaster for Barstool. The Jets quarterback was said to be considering the possibility.
Pat McAfee talks about Aaron Rodgers being on holiday
Shortly after sending this tweet, RFK Jr. acknowledged on the record that Rodgers was being considered for vice president in a New York Times report. Rodgers was in Costa Rica on a retreat to use the hallucinogenic drug ayahuasca when the news broke, according to McAfee, who revealed this on his own show on Wednesday.
McAfee referred to a picture of a group that includes Rodgers on the retreat at Playa Esterillos Este in Costa Rica that was uploaded by Jordan Poyer, the new safety for the Dolphins. McAfee said,
“The world found out when that man [Rodgers] was in Costa Rica,”
“They are ready to sit with the medicine,” “They said you don’t necessarily have to go attic and basement if you prepare for this entire thing. To be honest, thank you to Jordan Poyer for documenting this, that was a much nicer setup than whenever I heard these stories of the ayahuasca usage down in Costa Rica.”

Poyer, like Rodgers, has extolled the virtues of ayahuasca.
Rodgers “would not be in Costa Rica” at the time if he had known this information was going to leak, McAfee continued, adding that he didn’t think Rodgers premeditated the timing of this news release.
Rodgers has already discussed his use of ayahuasca in public. Jesse Ventura, a former governor of Minnesota and WWE star, was mentioned by The Times as another possible running partner for RFK Jr.
