Jon Gruden, a former head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Las Vegas Raiders, is intriguingly making a comeback to football. The European League of Football’s Milano Seamen, an American football team, revealed on Wednesday that Gruden will be working as an advisor to “improve our organization in every aspect.”
We’re excited to announce that American football legend, Jon Gruden, will work with us as advisor. Gruden won in 2002 Super Bowl with Tampa Bay. Gruden will help us to improve our organization in every aspect. He already started to work with our coaching staff 💪🏻⚓️ pic.twitter.com/semPyZyh9h

This is Gruden’s first football position since he left the Raiders head coach position in the middle of the 2021 season due to racist, misogynistic, and homophobic letters that came to light.
Gruden’s journey in NFL
The 60-year-old led the Raiders and Buccaneers to 15 seasons as an NFL head coach. During the 2002 season, Gruden assisted in leading the Buccaneers to a Super Bowl triumph. Gruden spent 15 seasons as a head coach, with a 117-112 overall record and five postseason appearances.
While Gruden referred to the email controversy as “shameful,” he is still hopeful about rejoining the coaching staff in the future. Gruden sued the NFL and commissioner Roger Goodell after he resigned, claiming that the league had released the emails’ content in order to force him out of his position as head coach of the Raiders.
A Nevada Supreme Court panel is still hearing arguments in the lawsuit. According to the NFL, Gruden’s contract mandated that he submit his claim through league arbitration rather than the legal system.
