Center for the Denver Nuggets Jusuf Nurkic, the center for the Phoenix Suns, received some excellent feedback from Nikola Jokic. After spending his first year in the Valley, center for the Phoenix Suns Jusuf Nurkic has adapted to his role rather well.

Jokic in action
Nurkic doesn’t have a lot of flash. He isn’t a master of inside rim protection or has a ridiculous offensive ceiling, and once the 2023–24 season comes to an end, he won’t be considered for any All-Star, All-NBA, or similar honors.
However, the Suns were aware that they were getting a big guy with selflessness who could anchor and facilitate on both sides of the ball. Instead of expecting fifteen to twenty points a night, Nurkic has fit in nicely with players like Devin Booker, Bradley Beal, and Kevin Durant.
Nikola Jokic On Jusuf Nurkic
After grabbing 31 rebounds over the course of the weekend, Nurkic’s status going into last night’s game against the Denver Nuggets seemed uncertain. In true Nurkic style, he performed – and performed admirably. After losing their previous two games, Phoenix needed a win and defeated Denver in overtime, but Nurkic fouled out late in the fourth quarter. He finished with 12 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks, and 7 points on 3–4 shooting.
Jokic said after last night ,
“He was young here – I think he was still trying to figure [things] out and find himself. I think he had great, great 5-6, how many ever years in Portland. And now he is a great fit for them [Suns],” “He can defend really well. He is a big guy who can, probably in some situations, switch one through five. Monster in the glass. I think he’s a great fit for them and he’s embracing his role.” “Definitely up there. I think him, probably, Joel [Embiid], Steven Adams, I don’t want to miss somebody – but those three are kind of the top, off the top of my head.”
