Quez Watkins and the Steelers Reach an Agreement

Quez Watkins, a wide receiver, is leaving the Eagles after four seasons to play in a different part of Pennsylvania in 2024.

Watkins and the Steelers have reached an agreement on a contract, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. Mike Williams was supposed to visit the Steelers last week, but he decided to sign a contract with the Jets beforehand.

Watkins caught 15 catches for 142 yards and a touchdown in nine regular season games last year despite missing a significant portion of the campaign due to a hamstring issue. In the Eagles’ playoff loss to the Buccaneers, he had three catches.

Watkins will be in Pittsburgh’s receiving corps alongside George Pickens, Calvin Austin, and recently signed Van Jefferson after the Steelers dealt Diontae Johnson to the Panthers earlier this month.
