Bulls waive Terry Taylor and sign Javonte Green

On Thursday, the Chicago Bulls waived Terry Taylor in order to sign Javonte Green.

If the Bulls make the playoffs, Green will be eligible thanks to the anticipated trade. On March 23, he signed a 10-day contract, which ended on Monday night. Green was absent from the game due to personal matters.

Before switching to a regular NBA contract this season, Taylor signed a two-way contract on February 21, 2023. During his 36 games with the Bulls, Taylor averaged 1.8 points and 1.3 rebounds in 6.2 minutes per game.

Fan Favorite Javonte Green would be missed

Green, a fan favorite and beloved within the team, had knee surgery during the Bulls’ previous season and is just now recovering entirely.

Before agreeing to a 10-day deal with the Bulls, he participated in ten G League games with the Golden State Warriors club.

During that 10-day deal, Green played in three games with the Bulls, averaging five points and 3.7 rebounds in 17 minutes.
