After Graduating From LSU, Angel Reese Responds to Critics in a Style

The Chicago Sky star, Angel Reese, who recently graduated from LSU, has sent a strong message to her detractors. Reese finished her college career in style, sporting a graduation cap and gown in a series of victorious pictures posted on X and Instagram after being selected No. 7 in the WNBA draft in April. She captioned her post on Instagram as,

So now what? what was said? oh okay that’s what I thought,”  “I graduated from THE LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY IN 4 YEARS ON TIME. I thought somebody without a college degree said sum.”

The mother of Reese’s former LSU teammate Flau’jae Johnson, Kia Brooks, appears to be the target of the pointed letter. Early in the season, when Reese was unexpectedly benched in November—a move LSU head coach Kim Mulkey referred to as a “coach’s decision”—tensions between Reese’s family and Brooks burst.

Reese’s mother and Brooks got into an argument on Instagram as a result.

Here are the pictures she shared from her graduation.
