Although Patrick Mahomes is well known for having a high football IQ, he also has remarkable academic credentials. Mahomes was a standout player on and off the field from his time at Whitehouse High School to his time at Texas Tech, with an astounding Grade Point Average (GPA).
Patrick’s mom, Randi Mahomes, disclosed in a recent interview with Tyler Today that her son “started getting college credits at Tyler Junior College when he was still in high school.” Randi was proud of her son’s academic accomplishments and said,
“I am very proud of his athletic achievements. However, I am more proud of his scholastic achievements.”
I’d ask you to do a film review, but 1) you don’t know ball, and 2) there’s no way to actually verify whether your claim is true or not
Mahomes might not be 40 year old vet Brady but he’s close if not superior to Brady at the same age.

GPA of Patrick Mahomes
Throughout his three years at Texas Tech, Mahomes kept a stellar 3.91 GPA, significantly higher than the 3.0 national average. The Chiefs quarterback made the wise decision to forgo his senior year and pursue the 2017 NFL Draft, even though he had excelled academically.
Mahomes’ decision to enter the NFL early has clearly paid off, as evidenced by his seven-year career that includes two MVP nominations, one Offensive Player of the Year title, six Pro Bowl choices, and three Super Bowl rings.

Not all NFL quarterbacks are as well-known for their academic achievements as Mahomes. Russell Wilson of the Pittsburgh Steelers graduated with a 4.0 GPA from NC State and Wisconsin, while Justin Herbert of the Los Angeles Chargers holds a 4.01 GPA from the University of Oregon.
The seven-time Super Bowl winner, Tom Brady, graduated from Michigan with a 3.3 GPA. According to reports, New York Jets player Aaron Rodgers received a 3.9 GPA at Butte Community College and a 3.6 GPA in California. The first choice in the 2024 Draft, Caleb Williams, earned a 3.29 GPA and a bachelor’s degree in communications from USC.
