The Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens will play in the NFL season opener of 2024, which looks to be a huge event.
The Ravens, under the direction of Lamar Jackson, will get the first opportunity to try and stop the Chiefs, who are aiming to win the Super Bowl for the third straight year.
The game is scheduled for Thursday, September 5 and was announced by the NFL on Monday. This will be a rematch of the AFC Championship Game, which the Chiefs won 17–10, the previous season.

In the Super Bowl LVIII, they went on to defeat the San Francisco 49ers.
One more Chiefs kickoff match
The Chiefs have a 2-1 record in the NFL Kickoff game, which debuted in the 2002 season. They were defeated by the Detroit Lions 21–20 in the season opener last year, proving that the season is not ruined if they lose the kickoff game.

The only previous Kickoff game the Ravens participated in saw them defeated by the Denver Broncos to begin the 2013 campaign.
The NFL has not yet released the whole schedule for the upcoming season, so fans will have to wait until Wednesday, but there is certainly plenty to get excited about.
