A social media frenzy has been sparked by the recent exchange between Deion Sanders, Shedeur, and former Colorado Buffalo player Xavier Smith. The youngest player did not take kindly to Smith’s accusations that Coach Sanders undermined the guys’ confidence. Shedeur called him “mid at best” on social media, saying he couldn’t even recall the safety, who had gone to play for the UTEP Miners.
However, Unc said during Shannon Sharpe and Chad Johnson’s latest analysis of this heated dispute on “Nightcap,”
“Shedeur gonna defend his dad.”
There should be no discussion about this at all. Even Chad Johnson stressed the value of continuing to have faith in one’s skills despite criticism. One of a football player’s greatest weapons is confidence.
“Nobody should be able to destroy your confidence. This is a game of football because that’s the first things you gotta have in order to play in the get go,” Chad Johnson said. “I don’t care who it comes from, whether it be the coaches, whether it be partners, whether it be fans. Nobody should be able to get to you if you believe in your craft and your game.”
