Though Tom Brady‘s comedy roast on Netflix may go down as one of the greatest in history, there was a cost associated with it, since jokes about his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen were directed mostly at her. In the era of social media, celebrities must have a thick skin, but the former model may have reached her breaking point after hearing jokes about her divorce.
With a series of hardly concealed jabs at Brady and the Brazilian, comedian Kevin Hart broke with the likes of Bill Belichick, who kept matters solely focused on his football career. While some of Hart’s prepared jokes were leaked during the Sunday broadcast, most of them focused on Brady and Bundchen’s divorce, which was finalized in 2023. Hart said,
“When you got a chance to go 8-9 and all it will cost you is your wife and your kids, you gotta do what the f*** you gotta do,” “You gotta do it.”
The fact that Bundchen was present made things even more unpleasant, as she tries to maintain good relations with Brady following their 13-year marriage. But that just provided Hart with more fodder.
He continued, pointing to Bundchen:
“But just for full transparency, she came as [Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver] Antonio Brown’s plus one.””Sometimes you gotta f*** your coach. You know who else f***ed their coach? Gisele, she f***ed that karate man.”

Supporters defend Tom Brady’s ex-wife Bundchen
It was hard not to feel sorry for the 43-year-old, who, in contrast to Brady, was denied the opportunity to defend herself in front of the audience as he responded with a slew of jokes of his own.
A fan stated:
“Nothing off limits in this Tom Brady roast. I’m already losing count how many times they mention Gisele . Some of Tom’s reactions…”
Another person took issue with him for seemingly telling the host not to make jokes about Patriots owner Robert Kraft, even if he let him make fun of his ex-wife:
“He lets them crush Gisele but he tells Ross sincerely to lay off Kraft?” “Imagine if Gisele comes out and roasts Tom. That would be the icing on the cake.”
