Is a WWE ring the location of Patrick Mahomes‘ next touchdown dance? It appears that the NFL’s golden kid may have his sights set on the WWE’s sacred squared circle, a whole new venue.
The quarterback acknowledged during the open discussion on “The Pat McAfee Show” that he was itching to show off his athleticism to the WWE audience. Mahomes said,
“The WWE thing was awesome. That thing was sweet. I wish I actually got in the ring, man. I gotta show off my skills a little bit,”

The remarks caused a stir in the professional wrestling community and soon attracted the notice of Triple H, the industry’s top dog. An open invitation was sent to Mahomes through his official X account by the WWE executive, who never lets emerging talent go through the cracks:
“Hey, Patrick Mahomes…you have an open invitation. Let me know when.”

Is Mahomes’ entry into the world of sports entertainment going to be more than a cameo? Fans are now waiting anxiously for the response as ideas of bodyslams and dropkicks mix with memories of Lombardi Trophies. We would love to see a bit more of Mahomes in the ring.
