Prior to the Jake Paul Fight, Mike Tyson Has a Terrifying Medical Problem While Traveling Cross-Country

Mike Tyson’s management confirmed to The Post on Monday that the athlete experienced a medical scare on Sunday while traveling from Miami to Los Angeles. Tyson’s reps told media,

“Thankfully Mr. Tyson is doing great,” “He became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare up 30 minutes before landing. He is appreciative to the medical staff that were there to help him.”

The terrifying incident was initially reported by In Touch Weekly, which described it as a “apparent medical scare.”

According to a source by In Touch Weekly,

“Mike had some kind of medical emergency on the plane and paramedics boarded,”  “Before the paramedics arrived the flight issued an announcement asking for a doctor — the message even came on everyone’s screens.“ “He was in first class, but we were in an exit row and the stewardess was very chatty. They asked us to stay on the plane and landed so paramedics could enter,”   “She said something like, ‘He’s a really important passenger so we wanna make sure he’s OK.’ I knew it was him, but I just mouthed the words ‘Mike Tyson’ and she nodded her head yes.”

Can Mike Tyson be fit for the Jake Paul fight?

The newspaper was unaware of Mike Tyson‘s removal from the aircraft, which had experienced a two-hour delay in Miami. Representatives for Tyson emphasized that Tyson’s medical attention was not the cause of the delay, but rather an air conditioning problem.

An announcement requesting for medical specialists was heard by the passengers approximately thirty minutes before the plane landed in Los Angeles, according to In Touch Weekly.

Mike Tyson has quit smoking to help him prepare for the fight

Tyson, who turns 58 next month, will make his ring comeback on July 20 in Dallas against Jake Paul. Although he fought Roy Jones Jr. to a draw in an exhibition in November 2020, the former heavyweight champion didn’t participate in a sanctioned fight until June 2005.
