It’s never too early to consider Ryan Garcia‘s potential next opponent after such a significant victory, even though his victory over Devin Haney is still fresh in memory considering the circumstances surrounding the fight.
In boxing, there are usually a lot of rumors and conjecture before a battle between two competitors. However, Garcia has taken matters into his own hands and granted all the insiders a break.
Next up, Ryan Garcia and Errol Spence Jr.
Garcia and Errol Spence Jr. got into a verbal altercation on social media on Wednesday, and he’s already planning the time and location.

Garcia adds that he has already informed Oscar De La Hoya, the promoter of Golden Boy Boxing, that this is the match he wants. Remarkably, Garcia stated that the most weight he would tolerate fighting at was 160 pounds.
Garcia fought Haney at 140 pounds, despite the fact that he was three pounds over the permitted weight. He obviously has the build to gain muscle, but 160 pounds is a significant increase.
👎🏾 I’ll legit beat his ass at the (at&t stadium at 154-160) off the strength of him testing positive but ion take tune ups 😒 https://t.co/X44ZK8bvX3

Spence seemed to be offering Garcia the chance to fight at 154, which would make more sense. Considering that Spence has always fought as a welterweight in professional matches, it also makes more sense for him.
