Shaunie O’Neal Doubles Down On Saying She Was Never IN Love With Shaq

According to a report by BSO, Shaunie O’Neal (now Henderson) is currently writing a tell-all book about her life, with a significant focus on her relationship with NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal. While the book has yet to be released, a quote from it has already garnered widespread attention. Shaunie stated that despite being married to Shaq for several years and having several children with him, she was never truly in love with him. Instead, she was in love with the idea of having a family with him.

Rumors have long circulated that when Shaq and Shaunie first met, she was already in a committed relationship with the father of her youngest son. However, she viewed Shaq as a way to improve her life and provide a better future for herself and her children.

In recent interviews, Shaunie has stood by her statement that she was never truly in love with Shaq. However, she has also expressed frustration at the way her words have been taken out of context and twisted by the media. Despite the controversy, Shaunie remains committed to telling her story and sharing her truth with the world.

Here is what Shaunie is saying now.

“When you love somebody, you love somebody, but to be in love with somebody is a different feeling. I’m like, oh my gosh. It’s a different feeling,” she said. “…People don’t read, you know what I mean? Love, not… in love… They pick out the words they want. Again, context is everything.”

“But it’s my book, my truth, and it’s my legacy,” she explained.

In my opinion, it appears that Shaunie, in her relationship with Shaq, was more drawn to the luxurious lifestyle and financial security that he provided than to Shaq himself. It seems that she valued the material aspects of their relationship more than the emotional connection between them. This raises the question of whether she would have even given Shaq a chance if he were just an ordinary 7-foot guy working at IBM. In other words, would she have been interested in him if he didn’t have the fame and fortune that he has? It’s a question that can only be speculated on, but based on the evidence, it seems unlikely.
