Dak Prescott for $60 Million Rumors Has NFL World Rolling Their Eyes

With Dak Prescott’s upcoming agreement, the Cowboys have not yet moved, but $50 million annual deals are now the standard. Given his advantage and the fact that the Jaguars have made Trevor Lawrence and Joe Burrow the highest-paid quarterbacks in the league, it is widely believed that Prescott, who is in his tenth season in the NFL, will be gunning for a contract that resets the market.

Furthermore, it has been stated by NFL Rumors on X (previously Twitter) that the quarterback for the Cowboys seems to be pursuing a $60 million contract annually.

Although the veracity of this rumor has not yet been established, given Lawrence‘s recent contract and the fact that quarterbacks like Jordan Love and Tua Tagovailoa are holding out for bigger or comparable deals, the news is not shocking.

The Dolphins gave receiver Jaylen Waddle a large salary, demonstrating their willingness to spend more when they recognize potential. Tua might not, however, be able to reset the QB market by securing a contract akin to Burrow or Lawrence’s. That would still be, nonetheless, very nearly $50 million, if not more. In contrast, Love threw for over 4000 yards in his first season as a starter, stunning the Cheeseheads.

In the playoffs, he triumphed over the formidable Cowboys team as well. The Packers may have to pay their star quarterback $55 million, given that they have historically spent a lot of money on their franchise quarterbacks.

Fans react to Dak Prescott’s rumors of extension

Fans, however, aren’t quite persuaded by Prescott’s extension. The majority of people believe that Prescott hasn’t accomplished anything or won postseason games to warrant a large contract, even though every franchise quarterback appears to be signing a $50 million deal. Some even want the Cowboys to trade him or let him to go. Check it out for yourself:
