Travis Kelce and Kylie Kelce, have always had incredible chemistry. These exchanges, which range from her sly jabs at her brother-in-law on the “New Heights” podcast to her outspoken support of the younger Kelce’s romance with Taylor Swift, are only a small sample of their relationship. Fans are amazed by them, nevertheless. Thus, the question still stands: how did it all begin, and did Travis impress his future sister-in-law right away?
In a sit-down interview with Sterling Holmes of Stacking The Box, Kylie disclosed that she dated Jason for more than a year before meeting Travis.
Though their first date didn’t go well—the elder Kelce passed out at the pub where they met—Kylie met her future husband in 2014 thanks to Tinder. Nevertheless, the former hockey player gave Jason another opportunity.
She and Jason, who was clean at the time, clicked instantly, and on November 11, 2015, they became official on Instagram.

Kylie eventually got to meet Travis in the 2016 Pro Bowl in Hawaii, which took place exactly two months after this significant occasion. She had to wait almost the whole football season for their schedules to finally line up. Kylie said,
“Jason and I had been together for quite some time before I actually got to meet Travis. I’m talking at least through a full football season because the schedules didn’t match up and so I actually met him [Travis] in Hawaii at Pro Bowl,”
But in the Aloha State, Travis wasn’t by himself. As it happens, Kylie saw very few instances of the Kelce clan being present at an event. Kylie said,
“It was a full dive into the Kelce pool because I had never been on a Kelce family vacation and that turned into one. So, we had the entire Kelce family together, which is rare,”
Furthermore, Travis lived up to the expectations Jason had set for his younger brother with his former lover. To the amazement of the interview host, Kylie mentioned that the younger Kelce was precisely what Jason had described as “loving” and “generous.”. She said,
“I had received months and months and months of Jason talking up his brother and telling me what an amazing person he was and how kind and generous and loving. And he lived up to it,”
It’s safe to say that, in contrast to his brother’s less than fantastic first date with Kylie, the Chiefs‘ star tight end made quite the impression. However, the tale is not over yet.
