Travis Kelce had a lot to say at white house and it was hillarious.
The Super Bowl champions’ custom of visiting the White House following their Lombardi Trophy victory was upheld by the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs finally arrived on Friday, though it took some time.
With the President of the United States telling jokes and the players and coaches listening to him, it always seems like a good time. This year, President Joe Biden made the decision to highlight Travis Kelce.
The brief White House speech by Travis Kelce
Despite Biden’s initial reluctance to call him, Kelce made everyone chuckle by keeping the conversation brief and nice. He said,
“My fellow Americans… it’s nice to see you all yet again. I’m not gonna lie, President Biden, they told me if I came up here I’d get tased, so I’m gonna go back to my spot, alright?”
Fortunately, the Secret Service opted not to prosecute Kelce for stepping up there and instead to let this one go. He was, after all, prodded by the President.
Once more, Kelce’s contagious demeanor and lifestyle were evident. If Kelce so chooses, he may certainly run for president in the future. He most definitely have the charm for it.
