According to her closest friend Gayle King, Oprah Winfrey was admitted to the hospital recently because of a serious stomach ailment that caused her much distress.
In an open statement on Tuesday, Gayle, 69, said she hoped Oprah, 70, wouldn’t be offended by her willingness to reveal the former talk show host’s location. Gayle said,
“She had some kind of stomach flu where stuff was coming out of both ends,” “I won’t get too graphic.
“But she ended up in the hospital with dehydration and needed an IV. It was a very serious situation.”

Will Oprah Winfrey be back soon ?
When inquired about Oprah’s state of health, Gayle assured everyone that Oprah would return to television shortly. Gayle said,
“She will be okay. She will be okay.”
In a recent news release, Oprah said of the subject of her documentary—which she called “very personal”—that it focused on those who use weight loss medications.
Oprah has been transparent about her weight loss journey for the entirety of her career. Rumors surfaced last year that she was using Ozempic, a diabetes medicine that is well-liked in Hollywood for helping people lose weight. Oprah acknowledged in December that she had switched from using her own “willpower” to reach her ideal figure to using weight loss medication.
People are now wondering whether utilizing medications like Ozempic has long-term risks as a result of this. Although there is a well established medical role for them in the treatment of diabetes, the unintentional side effect of enabling weight loss has not yet been thoroughly investigated.
Oprah is vulnerable to more questions now that she has acknowledged using these drugs, particularly in light of her most recent health emergency.
