After Defeating Jorge Masvidal, Nate Diaz Challenges Jake Paul

On Saturday night, Nate Diaz triumphed in his debut boxing battle, defeating Jorge Masvidal in a much awaited rematch in California. Their first fight took place at Madison Square Garden’s UFC 244; this was their second meeting.

Masvidal prevailed in their first fight as a result of a medical stoppage brought on by Diaz’s deep cut. This time, the fight continued for the entire 10 rounds, giving both competitors uninterrupted opportunity to display their boxing prowess.

Unlike their first meeting, which ended too soon, the bout went the whole distance. Unexpectedly, the scorecards of the judges caused controversy.

Diaz won by majority decision after two judges scored the fight in his favor and one judge declared it a draw. Diaz called out Jake Paul without holding back following the fight. Nate said,

“I’m gonna beat Jake Paul’s f***ing ass,” “And I’m down to fight the highest-ranked boxer I can find. Get em on a high level so people know who the f he is. My main objective has always been to be the best fighter in the world, so I wanna go back and get the UFC title. Leon Edwards, Jake Paul, and anybody the f*** else, you’re dead.”

Jake Paul’s answer

The former YouTuber turned boxer posted a video of Diaz’s remarks on social media and attacked the bout’s winner.

He wrote on X,
“F**k you Nate Diaz you’re a hoe who ducked my PFL $15m MMA offer,”

“Masvidal trash too smh.”
