It seems like a lot of people might have to take back what they’ve said about Bronny James. The 19-year-old has appeared like a totally different player in his last two games after having a chilly start to his NBA career. That’s presumably why Chet Holmgren of OKC felt it was necessary to bring up what Jaylen Brown, a star player for the Boston Celtics, had stated about Bronny.
James Jr. put up a strong performance in the Lakers’ Summer League matchup with his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers, registering 13 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocks while shooting an incredible 50% from the floor.
Chet Holmgren defies what Jaylen Brown had to say about Bronny James
Many of his admirers were moved by his performance and wanted to put an end to everyone who had voiced criticism of him.
Among them is Jaylen Brown. On courtside video, the Celtics star was heard expressing this about Bronny. He said,
“I don’t think Bronny is a pro”

With this declaration, the rookie for the Lakers has been fantastic. He scored 12 points on 45.5% from the field and 40% from three against the Atlanta Hawks. Naturally, his tonight’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers followed this. And it was because of this change in direction that Holmgren said,
“Looked like a pro”

Naturally, it is difficult to hold Brown accountable for his initial decision. It was, after all, hardly an isolated realization for him. Still, it’s possible that the rookie Lakers player was inspired by his remarks.
